It’s that time of the week again, time to work on my ‘Design Your Life’ class layouts … and it’s a fun, creative time for me, I’m really enjoying this class. 🙂 This week we are looking at Repetition again. Cathy has given us two layout sketches to create with, and we have to repeat elements on the pages. Above, you can see that I’ve repeated the colour green, and the same colours in my photos.

The second sketch is a page for an 8×8 mini-album. The brief was to ask members of your family to descibe themselves in five words, and to use repetition in the creation of the pages. Here is the front page and four pages of my mini-album. You can see that I’ve repeated squares, circles, soft colours, font etc.

Isn’t it a fun little album … so easy to create … only took me about an hour last night! If you wanted to take it even further, you could ‘interview’ cousins/grandparents/friends, and add their pages to the album. And you could do the ‘interview’ by email, it’s that quick and easy, if folks lived elsewhere. Have a great Monday … 🙂
